Paintings based on specific originals of textile patterns that were part of my home. First I worked with a literal transcription of the pattern and observed the transformation of banal prints into a painting. Later I reopened the topic again and tried to interpret a memory or the dynamics of a feeling, i.e. the mental process during which the imagination can turn a banal original into an aesthetically strong motif through emotional attachment.
